Ellen Negley was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, but now lives in Lake Worth, Florida. For her, watercolors are the perfect medium, although she finds them elusive, unpredictable and considers them to have a mind of their own. One minute the colors are bold and electric and the next they’re delicate and transparent. It’s that ever-present challenge that keeps her coming back for more, as there is always more to learn.
